New Beginnings

Hey guys! I'm back again!

I know I've been gone for a long, long LONG time, and I would like to apologise. Lots of things happened in my life and now everything seems to be settling down. I came back here and it saddened me to see that our new founder seems to have left DeviantART and the group seems to have slowed down. Does anyone know why she left? Anyway, I was sad that a group I had put quite a lot of effort into had suddenly stopped being active, so I've come back to change that.

I can't make myself Founder again, so I'll just run the group as a Co-Founder for now until I work out how to do it. And to all of the new members that have joined I'm going to take a moment to introduce myself.

Hi! I'm SilverTidalWave, or you can call me Silly for short. I'm seventeen years old, and my main passion is writing. I love to read, write, play the piano and be around my friends. I set up this group because I'm probably the most hopeless romantic there ever was in the history of hopeless romantics. I stepped down from being Founder because my life was getting in the way, but now I'm back to breathe life into this group again. ^-^

Now that that's done, there are a few things I want to establish.

This group was specifically set up for ROMANTIC love. Since TheAlwaysAngel became Founder she did want to include other types of love, and I didn't mind because I thought that was a good idea and because she was Founder I decided I would let her decide what happened to the group. However, now I really would like to go back to what it was originally so this group is only going to showcase artwork for ROMANTIC love. Anything to do with other types of love may not be accepted.

The rules I won't bother to go over, they're on the front page for all to see. Now that I'm back I really want to make this a fun, interactive place for all hopeless romantics to share their art. You are free to submit to any folder APART FROM THE FEATURED FOLDER. That's where I (and people who I invite to be Co-Founders with me) place art that we feel everyone should take a look at. You are however, free too suggest works that should be in the Featured folder.

I think that's everything I wanted to say. If there is anything else I'll make a few edits. ^-^

It's good to be back! And to all  members please take a moment to comment down below and write a short piece introducing yourselves so we can all get to know each other again. ^-^

Also, I think I'll bring back the Weekly Love Question next week! (And maybe talk about bringing back the Monthly Competition.)
